WALK DESCRIPTION
Join us to discuss care, health and healing in 1700s Providence. Who was performing care work? What work falls under this category, anyway? What work were people actually doing? We will walk along Benefit St and converse about enslaved caretakers, plant medicines, the value of care work and the power of caretaking knowledge. Ends at the cemetery behind St John’s Cathedral.
