WALK DESCRIPTION

Be part of a lively Northern Elmwood conversation with neighbors!

Together, we will ponder what we see/ experience along this easy walk route as a means to collectively envision this slice of a neighborhood that is actively redefining itself.

The walk route will include noted mural, Broad Street’s bicycle-friendly street design, a food pantry, a green street initiative, street trees, the mostly vacant former St. Josephs Hospital, a neighborhood park, an outside art gallery and more.

The walk will end at Peace and Plenty Community Garden with a collective look at the Teaching Tree Project and an option to tour Peace and Plenty Garden/ learn more about pollinators with 15 Minute Field Trips.

WALK LEADERS: Doug Victor and Melissa Husband
