Providence’s Waterfront: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Sat, May 5; 4pm-5:30pm
Meeting Location: near / on the Crawford Street Bridge – by Hemenways Restaurant
The tour will end at Waterplace Park
The tour will travel north along the river walk constructed between 1990 and 1996, then west with the curvature of the river. Stories about the project itself and the buildings along the river will be featured, with the author’s caustic opinions highlighted. Tour goers are encouraged to engage the tour guide with questions and objections. At best, the tour will be a discussion about architecture and urbanism.
WALK LEADER: David Brussat
