About This Site
The Isle Brewers Guild is a full service, state-of-the-art brewery that offers services to regional brewers who want to develop their brand without the startup expenses associated with building a brewery. The craft cooperative houses a retail operation, tasting room, indoor and outdoor festival spaces, beer hall, beer garden, and brewing courses. Their current roster of members reads like a who’s who of New England brewers.
The multi-building complex is the former home of the William Haskell Manufacturing Company – the longest-operating bolt and cold-punched nut plant in the U.S since 1860. In the mid-1980s, after the Company went out of business, the site became a public warehouse called the Kellaway Center, and remained so for more than 20 years. Certain features of the property have been maintained as a tribute to the property’s past.
